What is learnt
The specific objectives of the Degree course are:
To prepare graduates to work as professionals in the management of processes, organisations, institutions and teams in working environments in which technology plays an important part.
To prepare the graduate to integrate the application of Maths, Engineering Technology and the principles of Economics and Business Administration acquired during the initial years of the Degree course. Such training will become more and more intense as it addresses more specialised preparation for appropriate decision-making for the administration, management, integration and optimisation of human resources and materials that will be placed under their responsibility.
In particular, graduates will be equipped to work in one of the following professional fields: human resources, radar and missile systems, structures and materials, and communication systems. This Degree course will provide Army officers with the training required to carry out their professional activities, enabling them to attend to the demands of military organisation, preparation at unit level and deployment in military operations. This dual education will serve to prepare officers as both technicians and managers. It will enable them to lead, direct and manage the various organic structures in the Armed Forces to which they belong, as well as those operative organisations to which they might be attached.
